Second Life® is split into three zones: Adult, Mature & PG.

To be sure you're not missing out on all the fabulous adult features of SL™ it's essential that you not only have adult status but also that you have the correct search criteria checked in your preferences. Set up your Adult preferences.

Verify your age to enable adult content in Second Life®.
Go to the Second Life® web site and log in. www.secondlife.com
Once logged in you will see your Dashboard.
Click on the Account button as seen below.

A drop down panel will open with all your account options showing.
Click on the Age Verification button.
You will then see a simple form open up.
Just fill in your details there and you're done!

To see adult content in SL™ you need either to be (age verified) or have (payment info) on your file or both in order to enter some regions.

Follow either or both of these simple methods to enable adult content.
Please note: In order to enter some strict adult regions you may need both.

Register a credit card or Paypal account to enable adult content in SL™.
Go to the Second Life® web site and log in. www.secondlife.com
Once logged in you will see your Dashboard.
Click on the Account button as seen below.

A drop down panel will open with all your account options showing.
Click on the Update Billing Info button.
You will then see a choice of payment options. Click on the Update Credit Card or Paypal button. Then just fill in your details there and you're done!

Once you've achieved adult status you need to set up your Preferences so you can see and search all tthree zones: Adult, Mature & PG.

While in-world click on the Edit button at the top of your screen.
Scroll down and click on the Preferences tab.
Or simply press Ctrl-P to open your Preferences menu.

Your Preferences panel will open up.
Click on the General tab if it isn't already open.
Then click the "I want to access content rated: PG, Mature and Adult" button.
Highlight the PG, Mature and Adult setting then click the OK button below.
That's it! You're now able to access adult content.

You will aslo need to set up your search criteria by following the two simple steps below.

Now you have adult status and set your Preferences to Adult in order to search for it you need to set your searches to include Adult content. Just
Press the Search button at the bottom of your screen to open search.

At the top right of your search panel you need to be sure you have all three boxes (PG content, Mature content and Adult content) selected.
If you do not have one of these boxes selected you will not see content within the field of content not selected.
Then simply type in your search criteria and press the search button. Done!
